About
I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Incheon National University. My research focuses on international trade policy, with particular emphasis on the rise of protectionism in the wake of the US–China trade war, trade policy uncertainty, motivations for foreign direct investment, and global value chains (GVCs). I also work at the intersection of machine learning and econometrics — applying methods such as causal ML, high-dimensional regularization, and nonparametric identification to trade and finance questions.
